How can my hormonal imbalance affect my aging?
Hormones are your body's chemical messengers, carrying these hormones to your organs and tissues to help control growth, metabolism, sexual function, reproduction, and mood. For women specifically, the most common consequence of aging-related hormonal change is menopause due to the decreasing amount of estrogen. Having this decrease in estrogen has shown in studies that it can be linked to skin dryness, fine wrinkling, and a decline in skin elasticity. In men, one of the most common aging-related hormonal changes is testosterone. A decrease in testosterone can lead to hair loss, a reduction in muscle mass, and feeling tired or irritable. Botox is a great way to combat aging and the wrinkles that comes with it. Botox freezes muscles, in doing so Botox can help minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles caused by facial expressions. Botox is not a permanent treatment. Repeated treatments are necessary for continued wrinkle-reducing effects. Most people find that the muscle-relaxing effect of Botox lasts for 3 to 4 months.
Dermal fillers contain ingredients that add fullness to areas that have thinned due to aging. This thinning is commonly seen in the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth. Filler syringes range from $375 to $625.

How does Morpheus 8 Body work?
- Morpheus body treats deeper than Morpheus8 or Morpheus resurfacing and reduces cellulite, crepey skin, and body fat. RF (radio frequency) energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled fashion, rebuilding collagen and stimulating new cell growth. Morpheus uses a matrix of micro-pins to renew, tighten, and tone the skin. It’s a minimally invasive procedure with minimal discomfort and downtime.
When will I see results from Morpheus 8 Body?
- First, you should expect redness, mild swelling, and areas of taut or “shiny” skin for 3-5 days post-treatment. Flaky skin and light peeling are common, and with deeper treatments for cellulite or body fat reduction, some bruising is expected, especially in patients who bruise easily. Most patients begin to see meaningful improvement at four weeks, with complete results at the three-month mark. Morpheus works best in a series of three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
